High concentrations of sulfur, fluoride, chlorine, or low pH levels can damage the silver and impair its conductivity and shielding capabilities. To check, soak a small swatch of the material in tap water for one hour and observe for any color change in the water or the fabric. If discoloration occurs, use distilled or reverse osmosis water.
  2. Temperature Control: Wash in water below 40°C/104°F.
  3. Detergent: Use a neutral detergent such as TexCare. Avoid any detergents that contain bleach.
  4. Washing Method: Hand wash only; do not wring out the fabric.
  5. Drying: Hang to dry promptly after washing. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods.
  6. General Care: Be aware that regular washing may gradually degrade the silver, and discoloration over time is a normal occurrence.

Do not tumble dry and avoid ironing to maintain the integrity of the shielding material.
